Important News and Announcements
Due to the high attendance and interest in the 2015 Seattle Muni Fest, we are planning on having another one for 2016! The plan is to host the event on labor day weekend, September 3-5 2016.
The schedule is still tentative, but here is a preliminary breakdown of the days:
Saturday Sept. 3 – 10:00 AM
Morning: Soaring Eagle Park (likely location for 2017 NAUCC muni competition)
The trails are beginner friendly, but lots of little ups and downs and some roots make it a fun challenge, and at least one trail is quite hard to clear.
Lunch nearby – somewhere along 228th in Sammamish.
Afternoon: Duthie Hill Mountain Bike Park – lots of technical trail features, otherwise riding is mixed from easy to pretty hard muni.

Evening: BBQ somewhere nearby (Beaver Lake or Pine Lake – Sammamish, WA)

Sunday Sept. 4 – 10:00 AM
Tiger Mountain (Issaquah, WA)
All Day riding – Bring a lunch and plenty of water
Parking in the upper lot requires a WA Discover Pass – so try to carpool with someone who has one, or plan on parking in the lower lot (which gets crowded) and get a ride up to the upper lot.
We’ll hike/ride up the new master link trail to the summit of E. Tiger, then ride down via OTG, Fully Rigid, Joy Ride, and back on NW Timber.
This is a long ride, bring lunch and plenty of water. Hiking up takes ~90 minutes, riding up can take less than 60, but uses a ton of energy, so you might consider saving that energy for the ride down.

Monday Sept. 5 – 10:00 AM
All day riding – A lot of bail-out points for folks needing to head out early.
Henry’s Ridge is a bit like Soaring Eagle and Duthie – with some sections perfectly suited for unicycles – tight and twisty trails.
There are no big climbs, but plenty of roots and ups and downs, so it never feels too easy.

So far there aren’t many non-Seattle riders coming, so if there’s a specific ride you’re interested in (not necessarily one of the above), let us know and we can change things.
We don’t plan on reserving camping this year – but we will offer suggestions on campgrounds/hotels or help find a local to host you.
